I’m not sure what Donald Trump knows about railways or signalling, but he has, in part, inspired this blog. Yes, I’m as surprised as you are!

Welcome to the Signal and Electrical Engineers’ Technical Society (TechSoc)
TechSoc is based in London, UK and its origins are founded in London Underground signalling and electrical systems.
Our purpose is to offer information, lectures and events based around railway signalling and mass transit systems past, present and future. We do this through a programme of talks and visits and access to our library of technical and historic signalling related papers and publications which are available on-line or for loan to members of the Society.
Please feel free to attend any of our forthcoming talks as non-members are welcome. However, for just £7.50 you can join our society for one year and for £30.00 for life.
Developing Yourselves to Develop Sustainable Railways

In the previous TechSoc blog, Con talked about the importance of Continuous Professional Development (CPD); in this one I'll suggest a CPD activity to assist in the development of sustainable railways.
One of the factors we consider when scheduling TechSoc presentations is how to give attendees experience from beyond their own bailiwick.
The Importance of CPD and How TechSoc Can Support You on Your Journey!

In the ever-evolving rail industry, staying relevant, informed, and adaptable is crucial to success. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is one of the most effective ways to ensure you’re consistently building on your skills and knowledge, enhancing both your day-to-day performance and long-term career trajectory. TechSoc is uniquely positioned to support our membership at all stages of their career on their CPD journey but especially offers exciting opportunities for early career professionals.
Here’s how engaging in CPD through TechSoc can accelerate your growth and prepare you for the complexities of the industry.
